DTH for Stroke

The first objective of the GEMINI project is to develop Mechanistic computational models for a DTH in stroke. We want to deliver validated, integrated multi-scale, multi-organ models for cerebral blood / Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) flow, brain perfusion and metabolism, blood flow and thrombosis along the heart-brain axis, by integrating available and newly developed dynamic, interoperable, and modular computational models.

The final outcome is to combine four existing models and one novel model to deliver four integrated models on ischaemic and haemorrhagic stroke, validated using our extensive collection of databases.
