Modelathon 2026: Computational Modelling to Improve Management of Ischaemic Stroke
Organised by the Insigneo Institute and Sano Centre for Computational Medicine, this hands-on, team-based event will unite scientists, clinicians, and engineers to tackle the challenge of computational modelling in ischaemic stroke.
Unlike traditional hackathons focused on coding, Modelathon centres on designing, validating, and assessing computational models that can drive meaningful impact in healthcare.
The 2026 edition focuses on Multiscale Modelling for Ischaemic Stroke, offering participants the opportunity to work with 0D, 1D, and 3D methods, integrate high-performance computing, and build reproducible workflows with real translational potential.
