GEMINI was represented at VPH 2026 – the 9th International Conference on the Virtual Physiological Human, held from 1–4 September 2026 at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. The conference, organised by VPH – The Society for In Silico Medicine, brought together researchers, clinicians, industry partners and other stakeholders from the global in silico medicine community, with a particular focus on the adoption of digital twins in healthcare.
As a consortium, GEMINI partners organised a dedicated booth to showcase the latest developments across the project, highlighting the broad range of computational models being developed—from multi-scale pathophysiological modelling to personalised digital twins and clinical applications. GEMINI’s participation provided an opportunity to engage directly with the wider VPH community, and many congress participants stopped by the booth to learn more about the project and discuss its approach to digital twins for stroke and personalised healthcare.
The participation also reflected GEMINI’s strong connection to the VPH and in silico medicine communities, which are key audiences for the dissemination and future uptake of the project’s models and results.
